This is one of our short tours. We will start with Becal, the town where the elegant "jipijapa" hats are made, then continue to the Archaeological Zone of Edzna in the Los Chenes region and in the afternoon, travel to the city of Campeche. On the second day we will discover the wonders of Uxmal, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and visit Hacienda Yaxcopoil.
Upon reaching the walled city of San Francisco de Campeche, we will have a lunch break. Later we will visit the Forts of San Miguel and San José el Alto, the hexagon of the Bastions and the Sea and Land Gates of the former fortified city, walk through the portals of the Plaza de la Independencia and visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: BECAL – EDZNA – CAMPECHE
8:00 a. m.: Depart Mérida for Becal, known for its finely crafted “jipijapa” hats made from palm. Continue to Edzna, an impressive archaeological site with Peten architecture.
Afterward, head to Campeche for lunch, then visit the San Miguel Fort and the San Jose el Alto Fort for views of historic battles.

DAY 2: UXMAL – KANKIRIXCHE CENOTE – YAXCOPOIL HACIENDA
7:00 a. m.: Breakfast at the hotel.
8:00 a. m.: Explore Uxmal, a key Puuc region site, visit the Pyramid of the Magician, the Quadrangle of the Nuns and the Governor's Palace. Head to Kankirixche cenote to swim in its clear and calm waters. Tour Yaxcopoil hacienda, highlighting Yucatan's henequen history.
Return to Mérida.
